About This Project
After successfully redesigning their previous website, we took on a new challenge: migrating and redesigning the ABS Steering Systems website to Shopify.

Background Information
ABS Steering Systems specializes in the refurbishment and repair of automotive electronics. Their previous website, hosted on WordPress, no longer met their requirements for user-friendliness and performance. Therefore, they decided to migrate to Shopify to achieve a better user experience and enhanced technical SEO.

Project Objectives
Our primary goal was to ensure a seamless migration of the existing website to Shopify while retaining all non-standard features. Key objectives included:

  • Redesigning the website
  • Developing new functionalities
  • Implementing multilingual support (English, Arabic, and other regional languages)
  • Optimizing technical SEO
  • Ensuring accurate transfer of all products and categories

Approach
The project began with extensive planning and preparation. We created a product spreadsheet and conducted a pre-launch technical SEO audit. We then carefully migrated the existing website, ensuring all categories and products were accurately exported and imported into Shopify. Since Shopify did not natively support all the required features, we custom-developed the necessary adjustments and functionalities.

Solution
Our solution included a complete redesign of the ABS Steering Systems website, covering desktop, tablet, and mobile interfaces. By closely collaborating with the ABS Steering Systems team, we developed a responsive design that aligned with their brand identity and prioritized user-friendliness. We meticulously created prototypes to gather iterative feedback and ensure we accurately followed their vision.

Technologies
We used Shopify as our primary platform, complemented by custom CSS and HTML adjustments to integrate all desired features. Additionally, we utilized product spreadsheets for efficient product transfer and technical SEO tools to optimize the site for search engines.

Results
The result of our efforts is a revamped ABS Steering Systems website that fully meets their specifications and expectations. The new website seamlessly integrates with their existing systems and is optimized for both user-friendliness and SEO. By combining an aesthetically pleasing design with enhanced functionality and user experience, the new website is ready to elevate ABS Steering Systems' services to the next level in the UAE market.
