SneakerRequest.com is an online shop specialising in exclusive trainers. It is one of many retailers catering to the huge demand for trainers, which has grown tremendously in recent years. Based in Amsterdam, the company offers a wide selection of both popular and rare trainers from brands such as Nike, Adidas, Jordan, Yeezy, New Balance and more.

Trainer Request is a company that deals in exclusive trainers such as Jordans and Yeezys. The company was founded to meet the needs of trainer collectors and lovers of exclusive trainers. Their old website was built in WordPress and was not running smoothly.

The challenge was to develop a new website in Shopify. The client wanted a sleek new webshop in the style of Farfetch. The website needed to be straight forward and focused on selling shoes.

To solve the client's problem, we developed a Shopify website in collaboration with the webshop owner. The project took 1.5 months and was very successful.

To implement the solution, we took the following steps:

  • We created a clean design with black and white as base colours and green as an accent colour on product pages.
  • We created dynamic collections based on the title of the product.
  • The website is available in 3 languages: English, Spanish and Dutch.
  • We have set up advanced filters for the shop.
  • Different product templates have been created for all brands.
  • Trustpilot has been implemented as a review platform.
  • We built an automated e-mail funnel with abandoned cart reminders, discount codes for warm prospects and the ability to sign up for notifications on new releases.
  • We set basic SEO settings for all 3 languages for all 150+ products.
  • We submitted 9 new sitemaps to Google.

The new website is very different from the old woocommerce website. The old website was inconsistent in colour and did not work well. The new website has a clean design and is very fast. We migrated the URL structure and set basic SEO settings for all 150+ products. Advanced filters have been set up and the website is available in 3 languages. Trustpilot has been implemented as a review platform and an automated email funnel has been built.

Trainer Request's new website is very successful and has significantly increased sales of exclusive trainers. It has become a beautiful, user-friendly and functional website that fully meets the client's requirements.
